Let's See...Do ya MisS me?

For the life of me, I can't fathom why blogging is so addictive. But as my students do it on a daily basis, and for the simple excuse that it's a trendy thing to do, I'm giving it a shot.
For starters, I would like to comment on BFF's fantastic change of hairdo. Totally suits ya, babe. I guess i'm gonna have to snip my hair your style too! I realise EMO's the way to go. Makes me look wayyyyy younger and more hip (though i'm apologetically young too, heh).
In the past month, I had "relaxed" my hair or more accurately known as "volume straightening". I love the fact that my hair has more volume and does not look unnaturally straight. Pricey but totally worth it. My locks are not damaged at all, and even better than they were before. Yeah, going for hair treatments makes me feel more pampered and i even bother to dress up a little these days. Though i feel that i am getting a little vain, I'm overwhelmed by the good it does me- making me feel more confident and assured of my self-worth and ability.
Now i understand why most women tend to be very vain. Fundamentally, women have a need to develop their confidence, along with the hope that their inner beauty shines through, all with a primal basis to attract males. However, the extent to which that is true varies greatly from one woman to another. Others are blinded by that urge and become shells - superficially beautifully but intrinsically shallow and weak.
My advice to the generation of Eves out there, you may dress up all you desire but be sure that it does not become your primary focus that you lose yourselves in the process of being glamorous. Understand that sometimes, all you may need is a great smile and killer confidence to which men may flock.
But of course, too little of anything's not that great either. If you show up at Jurong Point in slacks, T-shirts and slippers, you are just proving to men that you are a slob. You can't have a bigger turn off than that (and of course bad breath and farts haha).
OKies, 'nuff said. Till i blog again~~~~~~~
